"krek bristle": to Peter, on his half-century

teasing the meaning from random dreams of life takes time.

randomly sketching words and visions of one who ...
closely,
clearly, openly lives as he lives, dreams of life as it is,
takes time, quietly teasing reflections of cosmic brilliance dearly
all he gives.

precisions strive to clarify,
passioned forgiving, effacement,

meticulous through times worn bare,
carefully spirited, constrained, confused,
compelled on roads to deeper dawning
reborn in freedom hard sought, wrought,
in gates of ore that none had hewn
from rocks strewn grainless,
hoarse in grounded wonder,
neapolitan style.

for there's the rub, the essential oil,
the chemically complex, contradictory love
of one who is more through being what he is.

teasing the meaning from random dreams of life takes time.
