This activity promotes Brainstorming
skills by encouraging students to think quickly and to allow any

69. "Email" -
Homework:
| Materials: |
Student
book (click here to see the student
page); Computer |
| Students: |
Pairs |
| Rationale: |
Written communication;
use of email; individual responsibility
for carrying out assignments. |
| Method: |
Students send an email to the person who is
TWO places in front of them on the list of phone and email addresses
(Introduction Project).
A copy of the email should be sent to the teacher.
|
| Notes: |
Email is a great means of communication and
students can exchange information quickly and conveniently once
they are used to it. If they can do so in English, they will
be building the sort of computer skills that will help them
in the future. Students are asked to send a copy of the messages
to the teacher, but it is left up to him/her
as to how strict he/she wants to be about
monitoring these.
