My Classmates
(from
Session 1): Remind students to transfer the information they collected
in Session 1, in the StudentWorkbook, page 4.
My Skills and
Needs: Students
should enter their assessments into the Needs & Skills (1) column
in pages 11, 12 of the Class Journal. This is the first time
this happens, so the journal must be available for students in this session.
Students start in pair-work, then as they finish, they make groups of four
and go into Find Someone Who ¡¦. There is no need to wait for everyone
to finish the first activity. Let students find their own pace. This will
be a convenient, comfortable and efficient way of finding appropriate groupings,
allowing the class dynamics to emerge.
Glossary Crossword: This introduces the
vocabulary that students will encounter in the Pre-project Learning section
of the course. Students are encouraged to visit the glossary on pages 291
- 302.
