Preparation for Week 1
- Buy the course textbook: Integrating Teaching and Assessment in EFL in Korea (ITAEC).
- Read Chapter 1 of ITAEC in preparation for Period 1 of Week 1
- Obtain a ring binder to use as your portfolio.
- Obtain a middle school or high school English textbook.
Your assignments will be based on this book.
- Do the Course Quiz.
- Submit your answers (Click on SUBMIT).
- Print out our answers.
- Put them in your portfolio.
- Join the Google Group. Enter your email address, then click on " subscribe."

- Post a message on the Google Group. Introduce yourself, greet the other course members, and mention any interesting things you want to share with them.
- Send a photo of yourself to the professor by Email.
Week 1:
- Read Chapter 2 of ITAEC for Period 1 of Week 2.
- Download the assessment sheets.
- Choose a Follow-up Activity from Chapter 1 of ITAEC.
- Do the Follow-up Activity
- Put the completed actvitiy in your portfolio.
- Make sure you write the name of the Follow-up Activity in the heading.
- Perform a self-assessment of the activity.
- Ask someone to perform a peer-assessment of the activity.
Week 2:
- Read Chapter 3 of ITAEC for Period 1 of Week 3.
- Choose a Follow-up Activity from Chapter 2 of ITAEC.
- Do the Follow-up Activity
- Put the completed actvitiy in your portfolio.
- Make sure you write the name of the Follow-up Activity in the heading.
- Perform a self-assessment of the activity.
- Ask someone to perform a peer-assessment of the activity.

- Bring a photo to class and stick it in the Class Journal.
Week 3:
- Read Chapter 4 of ITAEC for Period 1 of Week 4.
- Choose a Follow-up Activity from Chapter 3 of ITAEC.
- Do the Follow-up Activity
- Put the completed actvitiy in your portfolio.
- Make sure you write the name of the Follow-up Activity in the heading.
- Perform a self-assessment of the activity.
- Ask someone to perform a peer-assessment of the activity.
- Make a matching quiz based on a chapter from a middle/high school textbbok.
- Put the quiz in your portfolio, along with an assignment assessment sheet.
- Make sure you write the name of the assignment in the heading: " Matching Quiz, Week 3."
