Preparation for Week 1

  1. Buy the course textbook: Integrating Teaching and Assessment in EFL in Korea (ITAEC).
  2. Read Chapter 1 of ITAEC in preparation for Period 1 of Week 1
  3. Obtain a ring binder to use as your portfolio.
  4. Obtain a middle school or high school English textbook.
    Your assignments will be based on this book.
  5. Do the Course Quiz.
    • Submit your answers (Click on SUBMIT).
    • Print out our answers.
    • Put them in your portfolio.
  6. Join the Google Group. Enter your email address, then click on " subscribe."

  7. Post a message on the Google Group. Introduce yourself, greet the other course members, and mention any interesting things you want to share with them.
  8. Send a photo of yourself to the professor by Email.

  • Choose a Follow-up Activity from Chapter 1 of ITAEC.
    • Do the Follow-up Activity
    • Put the completed actvitiy in your portfolio.
    • Make sure you write the name of the Follow-up Activity in the heading.
    • Perform a self-assessment of the activity.
    • Ask someone to perform a peer-assessment of the activity.
