The course consists of three study hours each week, for 16 weeks:

Hours 1 & 2 (Wednesdays, 6:00 - 7:50 pm) are workshop-style, interactive lessons. Learners will work (in pairs and groups) on It's Up to You and English Reflections:

  • Weeks 1 - 9: Pre-project learning section, up to the mini-presentation (Week 9).
  • Weeks 10 - 15: Project Packs, up to the final presentation (Week 12).
  • Week 16: Unwind section, during which students will evaluate and reflect on their progress.

Hour 3 is a self-study hour, in which learners prepare individually for the presentations, write "My Reflections" in their English Reflections, and do other related, self-directed work. This lesson is just as important as the others, since students choose and perform the study that they feel they need.

It will be a good idea for students to make study groups and to meet each other in their own time, in order to plan and prepare the min-presentations and the final presentations. These meetings are considered as the third weekly hour of the course.
