Teacher notes:

  • This is a time of winding up, debriefing, and preparing for vacation study and the next semester. Students do activities at their own pace, in consultation with the teacher.
  • Participation Self-assessment (3) Have the Class Journal available. This third score is out of 20. At this stage the students have finished recording their participation grades (total 50 marks). The teacher can now assign grades, based on attendance, participation, mini-presentation, and final projects. This would be a good time to tell the students their grades and discuss any issues concerning final evaluations.
  • What Did I Learn? This is a valuable activity for the teacher, since it gives feedback on the whole course. This can be another good opportunity for discussion with and between the students.

The professor is a learning resource, so don't be afraid of asking questions. This is the period when you can bring up any problems that are troubling youl There will always be problems, confusion and misunderstandings in any course of study, so use this time to clear them up. The professor is there to help, counsel and advise.
