It shows how many people in our classroom colored their hair. According to the research result, most of students did color hair. 70 percent of students were done coloring but they did not color professionally and proper after color maintenance. Therefore, it damages the hair.  Although they know hair coloring damages hair, they do for beauty. We will suggest some ways of hair treatments for beauty.



 

Hair Organization

Basically, the hair is composed of three main layers : The Cuticle, The Cortex and The Marrow

The cuticle is the outer part of the hair. It is formed of protein fibre, Keratin. It protects the cortex and controls evaporation. Generally, the damage of hair means that the cuticle gets damaged.

Again, in detail, the cuticle is made up of Epicuticle, Exocuticle and Endocuticle.

The cortex occupies 75 ~ 90% of hair. It is the central part of hair and the most important part. It is also made up of Keratin, but, softer than that of the cuticle. The cortex decides on the color, the elasticity, the sense of touch, the degree of strength and so on¡¦..

The marrow is the inner part of hair. It is vacant and contains the air. It is difficult to find this part in the weak and thin hair.

The cuticle which protects the surface of hair get hurt or cut, then an incline becomes wider.  At this spot, through permanent, dyeing, dry, and ultraviolet rays, the hair is dried or gets lost polish, so, it is damaged or the end of hair is split.

Hair Treatment

Even though your hair is damaged, here are some suggestions to recover it as soon as possible.

It is the best way to make the natural hair pack. Before making your own hair pack, you learn how to do hair pack.

    1. Wash your hair and wipe it with dry towel.
    2. Put your hair-pack on your hair on the whole with hands and comb.
    3. Massage or rub your head with tip of finger.
    4. Wear a vinyl hair cap after 10 or 20 minutes.

Let's make our own hair-pack with material you can get easily.

1. Eggs and green tea pack

-Eggs containing high quantative protein give nutrition to damaged hair.
-You should wash your hair with cold water because of protein.
-Use green tea powder to remove a fishy smell of eggs.

      1. Combine green tea powder and the yolk in the bowl.
      2. Pour water while stiring it and make it sticky.
      3. Spread this pack with comb and wrap your hair with steamed towel.
      4. Wear the vinyl cap, after 30minutes wash your hair with cold water.

2. Mud pack

-It is especially good for oily hair.
-You can get mud from the cosmetic store.

      1. Mix mud with water and making it sticky
      2. Put it on all over your hair.
      3. After ten minutes, wash your hair.

3. Yogurt and olive oil pack

      1. Mix a half cup of yogurt and a teaspoon of olive oil.
      2. Spread it all over your hair.
      3. Wrap your hair with a steamed towel.
      4. After 10 minutes wash your hair with mild-temperatured water.

If you choose and use one of these methods for a week of fifteen days, your damaged hair will be recovered and gotten better little by little.

Finally the natural hair-pack makes your hair soft as silk.
