There is interesting voting in movie magazine of Cine21. As showing left side of chart, The Lord of the Ring is 73%, Matrix is 9%, Terminator is 2%, Star Wards is 10% and Alien is 4%. The Lord of The Ring is overwhelmingly voted as a best series movie showing striking-gap with second recorded movie Star Wards.

What makes the movie of “The Lord of The Ring” best series and the best adventure flick ever? Have you ever thought about that? Even Director Jackson says the movie is the best of the trilogy. The last two took in nearly 2 billion dollars. Best or not, it is at least the longest at more than 3 hours.

I have searched for the reasons gathering a lot of opinions from Internet.

First, I want to pick up the best computer special-effects imagery that that I have never seen a movie that delivered the "WOW Factor" before. Smeagol who is the most incredible character is the representative character born by the computer graphic skill. He has more than 300 of muscle and 250 of faces. And the battle for Gondor was spectacularly choreographed and has beautiful, powerful and amazing scene.

Second, the main actor of Elijah Wood and Sean Astin who must particularly be given kudos for making such a difficult leap of faith as actors. Their courage in showing raw emotion toward each other is touching and leaves one wondering about the people in their own lives whom they would protect with heart, body and soul. The definition of acting is to make it look real, and they've done it here.

Third, The Lord of the Rings series has wildest expectations and The Fellowship of the Ring and TwoTowers has already racked up billions of dollars in revenue. It might be one thing most people pick up the movie as the best series movie.
