Essay - Traveling For My Life

   The experience in Che-ju island

Now, I am a student at KNU. I was a member of a club at Young-nam university. The name of club is 'Free-will. I entered the university in 1996. I was a shy guy. I could develop my character through this club. I could learn and feel many things through my travels. First of all, I could meet many people and could talk with them. There was from gangster to doctor. They had their private life styles. I could talk about their life styles with them. Some people gave some help to me and some people told to me helpful stories.

When I was a freshman in 1996 at Young-nam university, I went to Che-ju island to hitchhike. I didn't know how to travel in Che-ju island. So, I followed my seniors everyday. Two or three people was a team. Everyday, we had to change our team members. Because, the program gave many chancese to talk with various seniors. Some senior treated me comfortable. The 4th day, I met a senior. The senior treated me hardly. The weather was very hot and the travel course was so long. I couldn't understand the senior's behavior at first. So, I had a lot of dissatisfactions. But, I awoke to his intention the end of the day. I wanted to obtain easily for a few days such as some food and some water, etc. I was aware of importance about small things some which we couldn't feel at ordinary times.
 

Last summer, I could go Che-ju island  again after six years. I was a boss in our club. I treated my juniors hardly. They expressed their dissatisfactions. After a few days, they were aware of same things to me. Many members in our club learn and feel many things through travels.
 

Winter came. The weather is colder and colder. Soon, we'll have long winter vacation. I'm planning to hitchhike for this winter vacation. I want to test about me, again. Theseday. I have many things and give up many things easily. I want to test myself through this travel.
