Remember that the emphasis is on quiet concentration and resultant relaxation.

  • Stand upright, facing forward, with hands by your sides.
  • Turn 90 degrees to the left, raising arms and hands at the same time (picture), finally holding them in a "W" shape, bent at the elbows, with the palms horizontal, similar to a waiter holding a tray.
  • Breathe in while doing this.
  • Turn to the front, holding the arms in the "W" position, finally bringing them down in front of the body, palsm facing forward.
  • Breathe out while doing this.
  • Repeat to the right.
  • Perform the whole movement 4 times.
