The old man's beard

  • From the starting position of feet together, hands by your side, move the left leg to the side (below) and at the same time, raise the arms shoulder height, out at your sides. Look to the left, but do not turn the torso to the left.
Shift weight onto the left leg, bring the right leg to join the left (feet together), and put weight on both legs. As you do so, the arms describe a circle (from the elbows), coming together in front of the face (picture on the left).
  • Start breathing out and let your arms drop slowly (holding the position), finally cupping them and turning them palm upwards when they get below the navel.You are holding the old man's beard.
  • Repeat all actions to the right.
  • Repeat all actions to the left.
  • Repeat all actions to the right.
  • Now perform only the hand movements, 4 times. Keep the legs together and still.
