Stroking the ears

  1. Bring the hands up, moving them (quite firmly) over the face and the scalp (picture).Breathe in.
  2. Perform this gentle massge twice from front to back (breathing in) and twice from back to front (breathing out).
  3. As you finish, take hold of the ears between thumb and forefinger.
  4. With the hands, rotate the ears 4 times from back to front (breathing in) and 4 times from front to back (breathing out).
  5. As you finish, put each forefinger inside the ear (above the cavity).
  6. With forefingers pointing and other fingers bent in a fist, desribe a circle with the forefinger, inside the fleshy part of the ear, but NOT in the cavity. Do this 4 times from back to front (breathing in) and 4 times from front to back (breathing out).
  7. As you finish, take hold of the earlobes between thumb and forefinger.
  8. Grasp the earlobes quite firmly, and pull down with your thumb and forefinger, until they lose grip of the earlobes. Do this 4 times, breathing in.
  9. Finally, with the forefingers pointing again, move them in a circle just outside the ears, massaging the scalp. Do this twice from back to front twice from front to back (breathing out).
  10. Bring your arms to your sides.
